The apartments exceeded our expectations with their spaciousness and top-notch appliances. Despite the unassuming exterior, the interior impressed with marble stairs. The owner went above and beyond by allowing us to bring our own food to the restaurant for a group meal, serving us drinks, and staying with us. The location in the charming town made it a great stop for exploring the Black Forest. Definitely recommended for a delightful stay!

Everything was great and I got ironing for free. It was located in a beautiful area in the black mountains.

The apartment was spacious, modern and very complete (with a kitchen containing e.g. freezer, dish washer, kettle, oven, etc). Digital TV, free WiFi, free parking. The restaurant served an excellent breakfast and offered a great choice of traditional German dishes for dinner. Great value for money! The owners were genuinely friendly and very helpful. The location is quite rural, amidst lovely hills and forests, and included in the price is the Schwarzwald Card, which allows free use of all public transport (including trains) in the entire region, plus many other benefits. Highly recommendable!

We had a blast exploring the surrounding area and trying out different activities. We went hiking through the beautiful trails and felt like adventurers conquering the wilderness. And let me tell you, the snowboarding experience was totally epic! We were shredding those slopes like pros. Oh, and horse riding was so much fun - feeling like cowboys and cowgirls exploring the countryside. It was the ultimate young people's getaway!
The only thing we wished for was a little more nighttime entertainment. We were in the mood for some partying and dancing with our friends after a day full of adventure.

A cozy place. Full furnished, with super cleanness. Kitchen with whole suite of cooking ware and table ware. Nevertheless you don't need them, downstairs they also have a bar, offering fine dishes at low price. It is a dream stay, better make it two nights or more.
Dinner outside the house looks cool, but in deed not so. The smell from nearby cattle sheds and energetic flies may be not so romantic.

Excellent apartment, with all needed facilities. Very clean and well done interiors. Absolute value for money.
Nothing much really, but to be picky would have prefered a double bed instead of a twin bed in the room.

The apartments were stunningly clean, spacious, and equipped with top-notch appliances. The interior design surprised us, especially the elegant marble stairs. We highly recommend arriving during the day to avoid getting lost in the dark roads of the charming small town of Lausheim. The friendly owner went above and beyond by allowing us to bring our own food to his restaurant after closing time, where he served us drinks and stayed with us. This place is perfect for exploring the breathtaking Black Forest or as a stop on a road trip. The peaceful surroundings, easy communication, tasty breakfast, and ample free parking added to the superb experience. The large, well-equipped kitchen made cooking dinner together a breeze. This was by far the best property we stayed at during our week-long adventure.

Though the hotel is remote itself it is in a good location for touring the Black Forest. The host family are terrific. Very welcoming and helpful and attentive throughout our stay. Food is so good we only cooked once all week!

Very large, very clean, modern apartment with extensive cable channels and modern kitchenette. Good location, very close to the Wutach Gorge which was our reason for visiting the area. Had a very comfortable stay with very helpful staff/owners.

Everything was fine. The owner of the hotel provided us complementary mineral water. It was a bit far from our point of interest (Villingen). But somebody wants to be near to the Black Forest, its really good location.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is very near to many attractions in the Black Forest area. the rooms are spacious and clean, with premium appliances. the host/owner is friendly and accommodating, even allowing guests to eat in his restaurant after closing time. the breakfast offered is very good and rich, providing a classic German style meal with wurst, slices of cheese, and boiled eggs.
The outside appearance of the hotel could use some improvement.

I found the rooms very spacious and comfortable and the owner was very helpful and friendly. The food in their restaurant was good as well. The kitchens were fully equipped. They have a great wi-fi conneciton availabe as well as satellite tv. I would stay at this property again. We booked both of their apartments for 3 nights each.
It is remote, but that is not always a negative. It really depends on what is planned while staying at the hotel. The location is a small Schwabian mountain village of about 290 people. The closest town is about 20 minutes away. If one has difficulty driving at night, it would be suggested to be certain to be back at the Gasthaus before dark as the roads are narrow, curvy and dark. Be certain to bring your own showering toiletries, but everything you need for the kitchen is provided. Note also that there are 2 significant flights of stairs to navigate. Lastly, the rooms, bathroom and bedding were extremely clean and comfortable, but the futons/couches were less than fresh.
